I love launching our engage2learn newsletter series with a focus on how #MissionMatterMost (one of my favorite e2L culture tenets!). Our mission to help the neighborhood public school be the first choice for every family is the foundation for all we do at engage2learn. We live and breathe by these words because we know how important a thriving public education system is to our democracy, to every community, and for the lives of generations to come.
Throughout the ongoing global pandemic, I have been inspired by you, the incredible leaders nationwide, that continue to champion public, community schools in the most challenging of times. Through adversity comes opportunity, and we have been given an opportunity to change how things have ‘historically’ been done. We are excited to partner with you to create more inclusive and equitable learning experiences for ALL learners by providing equitable support for ALL teachers.
In 2021, our partner districts chose to strategically support educators by providing job-embedded eGrowe coaching on key best instructional strategies and culture across entire districts and even extending the culture coaching reach to include operations employees. Our partner districts chose to intentionally invest in support that would increase employee satisfaction, reduce burnout, enhance the culture, and ultimately close opportunity gaps for achievement in math and reading, SEL, CSP, and ELL learners. Our partner districts also utilized eSuite to provide just-in-time, differentiated support and the eSuite data dashboard to showcase coaching data, inform their strategy and celebrate successes.
We are honored to be your partner through this challenging time as you lead and take advantage of the opportunity within the adversity. The time is now!

Faced with the potential long-term impact of pandemic-related learning trends, Houston ISD leadership decided to take swift action. In partnership with e2L, Houston ISD began the 2021-2022 school year by implementing a coaching strategy specifically for Reading Language Arts (RLA) staff across the entire district.
Meeting the district’s desire to build long-term internal capacity, e2L designed a customized coaching support plan that included not only teachers but RLA managers and teacher development specialists (TDS) as well.
“I started as a coach to my teachers, and now I’m being coached so I can coach my coaches! It’s been great for my role as a manager, learning how I can improve and build systems that will make it easier to coach the TDSs that I’m overseeing.”
Addressing teacher burnout and attrition is critical for public schools across the country today. In the spirit of doing so collaboratively and strategically, e2L brought together a group of innovative district executives to share their most effective teacher support strategies at a virtual Teacher Retention & Support Roundtable.
The group left the session with 4 key teacher support and retention strategies in tow, feeling united, reenergized, and better equipped to meet the moment.
When you invest in teacher growth, you invest in student growth. But can you really be sure that your investments are really having an impact?
Yes! With the brand new eSuite Reports Dashboard, you can now track all of your growth data to see what is (or isn't!) positively affecting student outcomes.

According to a recent survey, 40% of district leaders and principals would label their current staffing shortage as "severe" or "very severe." So, what can we do to prepare?
If you’ve been in education for any amount of time, you’ve heard the old adage “teach to the middle.” While the concept in theory is based on inclusivity, in practice it’s very exclusive.
